NBR I hate FedEx (kinda long vent)

So I'm really getting frustrated with FedEx because I have been supposedly not home for the last 3 days when they have tried to deliver it. However this is total crap. On the first day that I "wasn't home" I accepted a FedEx package from the FedEx driver (a smaller package but still a package). I was also waiting for the maintenance guy to come over and fix our furnace all day. The next day that I "wasn't home" I was home trying to encourage my over tired baby to sleep and trying to knock out my school work for the week. And then today when they said I wasn't home they at least were a little right about it because they tried to come during the 1 hour I was away from home today when I went to pick up my husband. Also, they never left a tag saying that I missed them on any occasion.
When I called to talk to customer service about a way that I could make sure the package came to me, they talked to me as if I was lying when I said I was home and just told me that I have to wait until Monday for them to try again. I asked them about if I could have them hold it at a location and pick it up (because FedEx has been stupid before and thought that I wasn't when I was and this isn't something that they will just leave with the apartment leasing office) they said that I can't do that until the 3rd failed delivery. I asked them about why they still wouldn't since according to their tracker they have failed 3 times to deliver and today they said that today didn't count.
So now I'm beginning to think that I will never see this package and I threw away over $100 on an entertainment center that I'm never going to see because they won't ever decide to really deliver it.

i had 2 snakes they fedexed and said I wasnt home it was 30 degrees outside and i was home all day! they didnt even leace a hangtag! apparently they tried to deliver it to an empty house for sale across the street!
I would have lost $600 if I hadnt stayed ontop of that!

OP: Hopefully you get your package! My Fedex guy must be decent, because I've never had this problem. Sounds like yours is a dumbass.
Wow, I never realized that you could fed ex animals. I suppose they have to be transported somehow.
Very cool about the breeding thing, but uncool about Fed Ex shipping to the wrong place.
My dad used to work at "The Hub" which is Fedex sort at the airport. He said there was a big crate with holes in it, he looked into one of the holes and something was looking back at him lol. They ship all types of animals.
We do ball pythons and leopard geckos. They're really interesting and cool to observe. They're kinda a hassle now that we have DD to take care of though.
