Anyone else into it? I am actually a yoga teacher myself, but this is my first pregnancy and i'd really like to go to a regular prenatal class, partially because it seems like a good way to meet other local moms-to-be!
i want to take one myself. for about 5 years i took yoga classe 1-2 times a week. i moved and quit that gym and haven't been back to a class in about 2.5 years, but i still do videos at home. videos just aren't the same. i'm thinking of taking a class at magee once i hit the 2nd tri. https://www.magee.edu/hec/PregnancyScheduler.asp
Love yoga and have been searching for a prenatal class(just in case due to me having IVF this month). I just dont know of anyone that has prenatal classes?? Suggestions for west of Pittsburgh??
Yep-def into yoga! I will also be signing up for the prenatal classes as soon as I am far enough along. Guess you have to be past the first trimester-so I do light stretches at home. I think it will also be a great way to meet other moms and bond with baby to be:)
Most all hospitals offer prenatal yoga classes. Magee has one that starts 4/18 that lasts for 6 weeks. Its Monday nights so anyone can go after work, etc. But they offer them year round, too. Not that expensive either.
Re: Prenatal Yoga
Thanks for letting me know about the Magee classes. I think I will check that out, especially because i am probably going to have my baby there.
I am going to try a prenatal class tonight at Schoolhouse Yoga in Shadyside.
