Does your car have to honk when you lock the doors?
The daycare by my house is having an event. I kid you not,at least 10 other people who have parked on the side street in front of my house have honked when they locked their doors. I wouldn't mind if DS's room wasn't 20 feet away and he wasn't taking a nap, but it is really necessary?
Our house is in a quiet neighborhood. The daycare is on its own behind it, we don't live in a busy commercial district.
Re: Car honk / Alarm question vent
Yes mine does but I'm pretty sure I can change the setting to just flash the lights or do nothing at all.
For me, its just convenient because I don't have to look, only listen and that confirms the doors are locked. So really, I'm lazy.
Sorry, that would be annoying to listen to.
Same with my vehicle

No, but I press it enough times to hear a "beep". It's the only way that I know that I've locked my car. And there have been many times where I haven't pressed it to hear the beep and I have left my sliding door open on my minivan.
So, I feel your pain, but for me, it's necessary to hear that beep........
