Lots of birth stories recently!  Congratulations to all the new February mamas!  Since I'm still waiting for my LO to arrive, I'm curious as to how your labor started.  Trying to gauge my odds, I guess.  Smile

    I'd been having contractions for 3 weeks before they finally got to the strength I was looking for!

    SS- My contractions never got regular even during active labor.  I had my bloody show beginning last Monday morning and Tuesday night I started having painful contractions. By Wednesday morning I couldn't walk through them though they were varied at 4-20 minutes apart. My OB said to come in and I was already at 4cm. I progressed to 6 rapidly on my own with contractions roughly 9 minutes apart before OB broke my water and then I was at 10 in no time. It took lots of pitocin to speed them up. DD was born last Wednesday evening.
