  I have a 3 day rule.  If we haven't eaten it after 3 days I toss it.

  I'd say a week is still probably okay.  Just let it simmer for at least 20-30 minutes just in case!  I've never had an issue using week old leftovers.

  I agree with this one. Definitely bring it to a boil and let simmer for a bit. Also, taste it. If it tastes funny or off, toss it.

  If it has meat, I wouldn't use it... if it doesn't I'd say you're good to go.

  I think a one week rule is pretty good. I'm awful for throwing put half empty jars of spaghetti sauce bc face it, who wants to eat spaghetti twice a week?

  I think DH would eat my awesome spaghetti 7 days a week!  Anytime I ask if anything in particular sounds good, he says spaghetti.  I think I'll do some tonight actually.
