Just saw your post about carseats - I have the Keyfit30, and my DS2 is about the same size as yours (he was 28.5 inches and 19.5 lbs at his appt this week), and I wouldn't recommend getting a Keyfit30 (if you have a Keyfit 22).   

My DS2 looks ridiculous in the Keyfit30 right now - although it is supposed to fit him until he is 30 inches, it sure looks like he is already too big.  But gosh-dang-it, he is going to stay in that seat until April (when its a little warmer and he doesn't need a giant coat).  

I'd go straight to the convertible seat once your DD has really outgrown the infant seat.  It's not worth the $ to upgrade to the keyfit 30 for a short time

(My DD1 was even bigger of a baby - I had to switch her to a convertible at 6 months)

    Thanks!  I'm hoping that the ice will melt soon then I won't feel so bad about it!  I definitely need to be better about making her practice sitting up too.
