What an odd feeling. We shall see...

my doctor goes out of town next Saturday, and I'd really like her to be there for the delivery, plus she didn't originally want me to go past 41 weeks, although that isn't definite and I know she'd never push me into an induction, but I really would like to have this LO before she goes!!! Come out, baby!!!

What points of your body do they focus on? Do you go to a special acupuncturist or is this something they all do? Just curious.

I contacted a local acupuncturist and she got me in touch with another gal (who is also a licensed acupuncturist) who does labor induction, so while they don't all do it, you don't need to look for a special certification, etc.

She focused on the pressure point in between my thumb and first finger, my lower back and a point on my leg about 4 fingers up from my ankle bone, on the inside of my lower calf.
