Parenting after 35

Diapers.com

Anyone use this?  Do you get a discount on diapers?  I use cloth too, but daycare makes me get disposable for them.  I just joined Subscribe and Save and Amazon mom on Amazon.com (both free) and got a box of 132 count Pampers Sensitive, which are normally $40.99 at Target/Wal-Mart, for $28.69.  So they deliver them monthly with free shipping.  I price checked around town first, to make sure the regular prices were similar to Amazon's and they were.

Just wondered how it compared to Diapers.com.

Just wanted to pass this savings idea on.

Re: Diapers.com

  • I use d.com all the time for a lot more than diapers. You can't beat free next day shipping. We use cloth at home and disposables at daycare too. We use diapers.com brand diapers and think they are great. I hate Pampers and the savings over their cost is great.

  • I find that Diapers.com tend to be little more expensive.  I usually buy Target brand diapers or order it from Amazon.  I ordered box of 120 huggies from Amazon using $10 coupon, 20% coupon and the subscription discount 30% and got the diapers for $6.16.  If you get different parenting magazines they have the coupons.  I know Baby Talk mag. has the $10 off.

  • I know I am in the minority here, but I had about the worst online ordering/shipping experience with diapers.com, had hateful customer service, etc. so I will not be ordering from them again.

I love subscribe and save on amazon!  We use it for a lot more than just diapers too.

  • I love Amazon mom's subscribe and save 30% off.  I also got a year's worth of free Amazon prime through a special they had going on when i joined so I really can't beat their prices/free shipping for diapers or wipes.  I've used Diapers.com without any problems but you have to order more than $50 worth to get the free shipping and I think they are bit more expensive.

If you have something from Soap.com on your order also, you only have to spend $25 for free shipping.

  • I'm sure the D.com diapers are great, I've tried lots of brand name and non-name brand diapers and a lot of them make my DD break out, so we use the Pampers Sensitive and they seem to work well.  Yes, they're a little pricey compared to Parent's Choice or Up and Up, etc. but her skin is worth it.  I think it all just depends on the kid.
  • I have bought other things from diapers.com.  I do order all of our girl products and some hair products from soap.com.  It is a more than the local store but the time savings is worth it.   I get pamper diapers from Amazon subscribe. I think it's about $28 for a box of 204 size 3.  T's sitter likes the pampers so that's what I get.

Online shopping is my life saver or addiction.

  • I love, love, love diapers.com!
  • I buy all sorts of stuff on diapers.com. Baby food, sippy cups, wipes, toys...I never shop in a store for baby stuff. Free next day shipping is so convenient and the prices are better than any store. I don't like the looong shipping times at Amazon.com.

  • I've compared prices and noticed that diapers.com is a few dollars more than my local Target. Even though they promote "Free" shipping, I think diapers.com increases their prices to compensate for their "Free" shipping. Many retailers pull this little trick.
  • I know it's wierd but I actually buy all my baby stuff in stores, I like to shop for baby stuff.  And normally I hate to shop, but for some reason I find baby shopping fun!
