Sleeping just a little too well...

The past 2 weeks I have been able to sleep 6 hours strait with NO bathroom interruptions!  Now I'm worried that the baby isn't where she should be, because I could always feel her on my bladder before at night! 

Not that I'm complaining that I'm getting great sleep and have tons of energy for the past 2 weeks, but I'd rather suffer with no sleep or energy than have complications when she comes. :-/

Anyone else feel like they suddenly sleep exceptionally well in their last weeks?

  • I have been sleeping well this past week.  It is a welcome relief because I had two-three rough weeks where I would sleep in 30-45 minute stretches for a total of about 4 hours a night.  I slept 6 hours straight last night after a 1:00 AM bathroom break and it felt great.  My uneducated quess is that he has less room to move so maybe he doesn't park himself on my bladder.  

    I also stopped drinking large amounts of liquid 3 hours before my anticipated bedtime.  I did that about a month ago but this week has been my first week without a ton of bathroom breaks.

  • Sounds reasonable to me!  I still drink water before bed (or else I'll dry out and feel like a sand bag in the morning) but at least the poor bladder's not a pillow anymore.  Glad you're able to get some sleep, too!

  • I have definitely been sleeping a lot better than I was a few weeks ago, and lately, I've only been getting up once to go to the bathroom, usually towards morning.  I have stopped drinking so much water right before bed, though, so that might have something to do with it.
