Will just got a hold of a cashew and ate it. He's been fine with peanuts/peanut butter, so I really didn't think about it until after he'd eaten it. Should I be watching him for signs of an allergic reaction, or are all tree nuts generally the same when allergies are concerned?

Oh...TREE nuts.
:::erases the answer that immediately popped into mind when asked, "Are all nuts the same?":::
Peanuts and tree nuts are separate allergies, and some folks are even allergic to specific tree nuts only.
It doesn't hurt to watch for a reaction (with any new food), but if he has no other allergies and is fine with peanuts, odds are he'll be just fine.

Thanks Becko! I didn't realize they were so different. I'll watch him closely for a few hours, but hopefully he's just fine. He's currently screaming on the floor because I wouldn't give him anymore
