They are tan/stone. I will be wearing them with jeans, so you won't really see the socks, except if I was sitting, etc. White feels wrong. I'm not sure why this is a challenge for me. LOL. These are just a weird color.
I those shoes, have some very similar. I usually wear some gray tone (sometimes patterned, sometimes not). I also feel strange wearing white with them. I'm sure no one really notices but me.
LOL - only have maybe 2 pairs of solid colored socks. I'm a freak for patterned/cute socks. I wouldn't let the shoe color stop me from wearing something else. I just don't care what people think about what I cover my feet with LOL. :P
I have shoes very similar to that, I wear them all the time (even today!). It never remotely crossed my mind to concern myself with the color socks I wear with them. This is why you are cooler than I am.
I personally see nothing wrong with a white sock...I would definitely go with an ankle length sock though, because that's what I always do with tennis shoes. I don't own any gray socks...am I missing something? LOL

Re: NBR: What color/type socks would you wear with these shoes?
Grey would be AWESOME! Or even a fun patterned brownish.
***Baby #3: BFP Mother
This is what I would do too.
I have another similar pair that I wore sockless during the spring/summer and they, well, made my feet reek! LOL.
