Hi! Noah went to his 4 month pedi appointment on Monday. He did great! He is such a mellow baby, he didn't cry at all other than when they gave him his shots (poor little guy). Here are his stats: 16lbs, 5oz (75-90th percentile) and 26.5 inches (90-95th percentile). He is healthy and the pedi said not to worry about his sleeping at this point; he felt he was not a great sleeper with the more frequent night wakings but did say he was probably about average for a 4 month old. He said that by 6 months he'd expect him to stop waking that often to eat at night and if he hasn't at that point he will definitely tell us to stop feeding him at night to break the habit, but for now I can just do whatever I'm comfortable with. He also told me that sometime between 4-6 months is when most babies begin to sleep longer at night, so I am hoping he's right. For whatever it's worth, Noah has gone some pretty long stretches over the past couple of nights, so I am feeling pretty good. Maybe things are improving already!
Re: Noah 4 month stats
That's true, Simon started sleeping 10 hours straight almost every night from age 4 months to 6 months! Then he stopped and never did it again
but hey I got 2 good months in! Glad Noah's appointment went well.
He is growing so nicely! Great pic's - both of them are so cute! Hope Noah's sleeping habits continue to improve!
