Parenting after 35

my babies are growing up...

Our 7 yr old lost his 3rd tooth today at school during lunch. They think he might've swallowed it because they couldn't find it. This happened when he lost his first tooth, too, so I'm not worried. It's one of the top front teeth and he not only looks cute, he sounds cute....especially when he says a word that has a "ch" or "sh" sound.

Also, Victor's first tooth is growing in. It's a front bottom one.

Both my boys are snaggletooth! LOL!

  • Toofers!  Will the older still get a tooth fairy visit, even without the goods?

  • Oh absolutely, Peppernut! He was telling me all the way home from school what "the cost of a tooth" is based on what he's received the last two times. lol. Gotta love 'em. Smile

We have a seperate "tooth pillow" for the tooth fairy. It's a little pillow that has a pocket on it and the pocket has a letter T on it. The tooth/gift goes in the pocket. I thought of it before he lost his first tooth. I just knew I'd end up waking him up trying to slide something under the pillow he sleeps on.

  • Nice!  We'll have to make a tooth-pocket pillow for Margaux.  Does he put an "IOU" in there for the tooth?  :p

  • That is a brilliant idea! I will have to look on Etsy for a pillow like that!

  • Tooth pillows are a brilliant. Maybe he could draw a tooth on construction paper, cut it out and put it in the little pillow....

Yeah and boo for growing up.
