vbac concerns

hi im new here and just had a few concerns about having an vbac deliery.i just recently had a baby boy in aug that ended up as an emergency c section. to sum it up a lil i went in for an induction which was goin great then took a turn for the worse when my son was not respondin and his heartrate was very low. my doctors took action very quickly and he was born and everything was fine havent had any problems due to his birth. i just recently found out that i am expecting another baby in june my doctor told me i could go for a vaginal delievry since i already had a sucessful one with my lil girl seven years back. im just really worried since i just had one in aug and now going to be delivering again in june. as anyone else been through this. any advice would be great thanks ladies

    I have heard conflicting things on when it was ok to attempt a VBAC after a c/s. My doctor told me that a scar is a solid scar wether it is a year or 7 years later. I however am not in your shoes and am going on 7 years later.  I would talk more with your doctor about your situation. I do believe there are a couple of ladies on here who had a VBAC less than 24 months apart.

    I had a VBAC and my deliveries were 18.5 months apart. I had no issues with uterine rupture or any other complications despite my deliveries being fairly close together. Good luck to you!
