I'm mainly a lurker, but I've been trying to post more often. It just doesn't always happen. Anyway, we have had several snow days recently and I've been hit with the sewing bug and I whipped a few things up this week. Just thought I would AW what I made and my cute little model! Poor thing is teething and you can tell she doesn't feel 100% (notice the drool and red cheeks?!)
My first attempt at ruffle pants and hand sewn onesie:
A ruffle butt onesie and baby legs (made out of adult socks) (back):

Re: AW: Feeling crafty: PIP
Thanks, ladies! Just don't look too closely at the hems. ha!
The baby legs were so easy: I just took a pair of ladies socks, cut off at the heel, tucked it under, and hand sew a hem. I buy the $2 socks from Target...so much cheaper than the real thing.
I saw instructions for this a few days ago and I am dying to try it out. Now I just need to get to Target!
would you mind sharing how you made those baby legs?
Regards
Thanks again!
Here is the tutorial I (loosely) followed:

sorry, I don't know how to make it clicky. Good luck and happy sewing!
