Ok, so apparently BOTH of my babies have a stomach bug, because I was puked on from head to toe not once, but twice in an hour - each.  UGH!  If you're keeping track, that's 4 changes of clothes for me Tongue Tied

Does anyone know what the guidelines are on Pedialite for this age?  They don't want to take much, or any at all, but if I can get them to tonight, how much is too much?  I think there's a limit so that you don't throw them too off...Does this sound familiar to anyone else?

    My pedi told me 2 ounces every 30 minutes. If they can't keep that down then go to 1 ounce. My DD just had the same stomach bug. I hope your babies get to feeling better soon.

    DD#1 is 3! And LO#2 is on his/her way! Due Feb 26th, 2014.

     

    BFP#1: EDD 5/7/2010 born on 5/20/2010. A little girl named Emily.  

    BFP#2: m/c 10/29/2012 EDD was 6/21/2012 Baby Hope was 6 weeks 3 days. 

    BFP#3: Twin B stopped growing at 8 weeks and 5 days. Found on 8/10/2014. EDD was 2/26/2014. Twin A is still doing great and due date is 2/26/14.

    Our pediatrician recommended a formula like Gentlease, do not feed baby anything with acids (like apples) and to make a mixture of 1 part apple juice, 2 parts water and a pinch of salt in a bottle to build up baby's electrolytes. I'm sorry that you have to deal with this...Jena is dealing with the same thing right now and it's heart breaking.

    Thanks!  That sounds about what we were told before.  They're sleeping now, but I'm sure they'll be up to start this cycle about the time my head hits the pillow.  How long did it take to run it's course for your LO?

    Ugh. Your poor babies and poor you! DS had this exact thing last week. It lasted about a week. It is definitely sad. I gave DS an oz or two here and there, but I think that was making him puke more. He had lots of diarrhea too. Plus, his four teeth broke through on the last day, so he got a fever. Good luck and make sure you rest with babies!

    The first day she was throwing up and the second day she had diarrhea, the third day she threw up twice and then the fourth day she just felt like crud. It took about 4 days but I caught it too and so did my husband. So if they have the same thing it is extremely contagious.
