Well, We're moving to VA!

Dh is taking a position with a college in Lynchburg.  

Anyone there?  Advice?  Know anything about the schools?

We're debating trying to find a place near his college (NE part of Lynchburg) or finding a place in Campbell Co.    Depends on where we can find a rental for the first year.  Don't want to buy right away.

    Hey I live in Roanoke and have in laws in Lynchburg. It's a great place to live. Where are you moving from?

    Used to live there....grew up there. Go with the Cambell co schools over Lynchburg City. As far as elementary go Sandusky, Bedford Hills, and Paul Munro are good in the city (I used to teach there). There are great teachers elsewhere but some of the students/families are rough. Campbell Co. taxes are cheaper too.
