XP: Urgent T&P's please (NBR)

My Mom could really use some right now. She has been battling cancer for 2 years now and things have been getting progressively worse. She has been on hospice care for about 5 months now. She has been sleeping for the past 2 days straight and they can barely get her to wake up for more then a few minutes. They called her hospice nurse and although fatigue can be caused by a number of things, the nurse has said that this could be a sign that things are getting worse.

Her nurse is on the way over there now and so I am just waiting on word of what she has to say. My sister is going to take her to the side and ask her if she thinks I need to come home. Her nurse is a very sweet, wonderful woman and will be totally honest with us.

I'm scared of what she will say, but if I need to be there, then I want to know. Any extra thoughts or prayers you could send would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Her hospice nurse said I need to go ahead and come home so I am out of here on the first flight home tomorrow (we live in Kansas, my mom in Maryland). I am scared, but trying to hope for the best.

I am going through the exact same thing right now. My dad has had cancer for 8 months and is now in hospice care. I live overseas and got the call last weekend that he was asking for me and it was time I come home. I've been home a week and go visit everyday but I know It's only going to get worse. Its a very hard time especially being pregnant with my first baby, their first grandchild. Be strong and my thoughts are with you...

I'm so sorry. I went through the same thing with my Dad about 2 and a half years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
