Back from 41-week appt!

I had an ultrasound this morning to look at fluid, placenta, cord, etc, as well as an NST. Everything looks perfect. What a relief! Oh and the "little" guy's weight estimate is 8lbs 10 oz with a 0.5lb margin of error.

My OB is willing to let me go until 42 weeks (next Wednesday) but she will be on call on Monday and said that I could just go in if I don't go into labor on my own by then. Since I am already 6cm dilated, she would just break my water and she is pretty confident that's all it would take. 

I really really hope labor will start on its own before then, but if not, chances are we will have a Valentine's Day baby. And that's also my brother's birthday. Not the day I'd pick but my OB would be there to deliver and that takes precedence over choosing the date.

Please send me active labor vibes!!!

    Good luck!!  Glad things are going well!  I had my 39 week today and now have my biophysical profile/nonstress test scheduled for my 40 week appointment (Weds).  They'll let me go to 42 weeks also (if that ends up being the case).

    Good luck to both of us!  Thoughts of contractions, dilating, effacing, crowning, and all that stuff coming your way. :)

    Sending labor vibes your way! If it makes you feel any better, Charlie was 8 lbs. 6 oz. with a 14inch head circumference. It's totally doable - with a little help! ;)

    I go back to the doctor tomorrow to do a NST and AFI.  I'll be 40 weeks and 6 days.  I feel GINORMOUS...like I've doubled in size in the last week.  It's really starting to feel uncomfortably gross.
