Mild Menstrual-like cramps

I've had mild menstrual-like cramps off and on for the past 36 hours or so. there's no timing it, so I don't think they are contractions. I wonder if something could be happening down there? I have my weekly appt this afternoon so hopefully I'll know more then. I've had no progress so far, so I am very eager for the results of this appointment!

    I've had those for the past week or so...not fun.

    And I just got back from OB and found out I'm only 1 cm dilated, 70% effaced...she's thinking I'm going to go past my DD...we'll see.

    I'm pretty sure it's a sign you are effacing. I've been having them for weeks now and each apointment I'm a little more effaced but still 1 cm dilated. Good luck!
