They've been pretty strong (strong enough for me not to miss 'em) for an hour or so now, but only 10-13 minutes apart. I'm actually hoping they slack off overnight like most women's do so that I can make it to my induction date. At least if I make it to Monday, everyone will be here and we'll all be prepared. If she comes between now and then it'll be a rush to get our sitter here and my mom here from 2.5 hours away.
Oh well...either way, I'm excited I'll be meeting my little girl soon. ![]()
Re: Contractions...
Lol. (Sorry, don't mean to laugh at your discomfort/misfortune.) That's what I've been telling DH and my family. I'm not convinced they're gonna last since I've been reading so many posts from frustrated mamas on here about having consistent contractions practically every night, then *poof!* nothing.
I will give you some of my anti labor dust, I think I produce the crap. In seriousness though, I have contractions from about 2pm-2am every single day four minutes apart and they vanish like clockwork, so maybe it will work for you!
I just have to ask...what has your OB told you to look for as a sign of when to call back/go in since you're at 4 minutes apart for at least an hour?? I mean...that's past the point where most OBs tell their patients to call. Do you just go to L&D for a daily visit?
BTW, it looks like tonight's episode was in fact false labor. I just finished telling DH that I can't imagine doing this nightly for weeks like some of you ladies do. At least in my situation the most I have to do it is 5 nights (including tonight).
