  Congrats mama! Wow, I can't believe your hospital took you at 4cm- they kept telling me to go home at that point! That was a good thing though, I got the birth I wanted. Enjoy that epidural!

  Congrats! On Monday I was only "fingertip" dilated and 50% effaced. You have given me some hope...maybe sometime this weekend for me? please?!

  Good luck!  I was dilated to almost 2 cm at my appointment last Monday morning at 9:00 and my baby was born at 7:30 that night - it can definitely happen fast!

  Had Danielle at two! Was already ten cm when dr came over to break my water at lunch ( 3 hrs after she sent me over). Pushed right away for 45 min. Healthy and fantastic.

  Glad to hear there is some hope out there!  I went in for my appointment last week at 38w 4d and I was 1cm and thick.  This week at my 39wk 4d appointment I was 1cm and thinner (not thin, just thinner) lol.   An induction is set for next Thursday if baby hasn't arrive yet but this does give me some hope that maybe baby will arrive on his/her own before then!!

  I'm only fingertip and 50%-same as last week.  My do told me not to be discouraged.  She went back through her own records and she said she was only fingertip the day before she went into labor with her little one.  IT can definitely happen fast!  I just hope this proves true for all of us!!!
