Seems like it's about 50/50. Meaning no matter which one you want, half the time you (and she) will have to correct people. So decide if you are okay with that.
I know 2 Kay-lees that spell it this way. Never thought of it to be callie... but now that I look at it...it could be. I am just accustomed to Kay-lee.
I have one in my class this year pronounced Kay-lee. She's the sweetest thing, EVER! She has a very Irish last name and a twin brother with an Irish name.
When I first saw it on my roster I thought "Kal-lee" though.

Same here! I also know a Caleigh (pronounced Kay-lee) and it took me the longest time to figure out if it was pronounced Kay-lee or Callie.....
