I just switched pediatricians and my new one is AWESOME. Her name is Dr. Beams and she is in practice w/her mom. They have two locations one in Columbia and one in Laurel. I can post more later if you like just let me know. (She has a website and is extremely accessible, which is really helpful when you are a new mom to a newborn).

We go to the Pediatric Center - they have a locations in Catonsville and Elkridge. There are 10 doctors in the practice, but we primarily see Dr. Landrum.

I posted a similar question on this board a couple months ago and someone recommended Dr. Paul Ambush, in Clarksville. We met with him and his wife, Miss Jackie, who is a nurse, before our LO was born and loved them. Since then, we've been to the office a few times and, as a first time mom, I have called him many times and he always get back to me shortly to answer any questions I may have. I highly recommend him.

We also use Dr. Beams/Dr. Khan. We see Dr. Khan more often because we go to the Laurel location most often. I really like both of them. I have never felt rushed out of the office. And, besides last Friday, have never had to wait a rediculous amount of time to be seen. I've never felt judged by them. Their staff is wonderful (1 nurse, 1 receptionist).
Southernbell - what is Dr. Beam's website? I know she gave it to us when we interviewed them, but I lost the link and it doesn't google easily.
