North Metro Midwives & Maple Grove Hospital...

any experiences?

currently live in St. Cloud but are looking to move and more importantly want a midwife-attended water birth come June.  We are meeting Katherine Simon of NMM next week but just wanted to see if anyone has any insights or experiences?

    I've posted a couple times on here about them! The women there are amazing!! I would say go for it for sure! It will be completely worth the extra drive they are really great!!

    I replied to your first post about NMM, so the only thing I can add is that I briefly met Kathrine at my appointment last week and she was great. I also had my appointment with Ondrea last week, which was the first time I met her, and I loved her. I think you'll know after meeting them whether it's a good fit for you, but I would highly recommend them!

    I'm sure you've already met the NMW crew, but I wanted to let you know that they are the ones who helped me bring Aubriana into the world and they were FANTASTIC! We're going through them again for baby #2 and I wouldn't want it any other way! And for what it's worth, I gave birth at North Memorial and LOVED it! The experience there was great and, if you're wanting a water birth, they now have birthing tubs! :) Yay! Good luck!
