Man, my name has tanked

I was checking to see if the Top Baby Names of 2010 had come out yet (it hasn't) on the SS website. I ended up checking the trend of my name (Christina) from 1980-2009.

After thriving in the top 25 between 1980-1990, it lingered in the top 100 until 2003 when it was 109th.

In 2009 it was 230th.

Sad.

My name, Carrie, came into the top 100 in '68 then dropped back out in '85. Since then, it has steadily dropped till 1000 in 2008. I'm guessing it is no longer in the top 1000. Definitely not popular!

Isla was 619 in 2008 and 346 in 2009. I'm guess it was over 1000 prior to that (for the past 50 years, anyhow). I'm interested to see what it is for 2010!

Miles was in the 400s 50 years ago and dropped into the 500s '66 and '78, and has been steadily climbing since then to 162 as of 2009.

I find names so intesting!
