Hey everyone. My son just grew out of his 0-3 month clothes, and I want to donate them. We don't plan on another one for a few years, so I don't want to keep them. I also don't want to give them to Goodwill or SA...I want them to go directly to women and babies who need them. Can you recommend any shelters or places that'll take them within the Quad Cities (or not too far away from the QC)? TIA!
Try Edgerton Women's Health. It is a clinic for low income women having babies. A friend of mine works there and I know they accept donations of baby blankets. I'm sure they would have a lot of people that need baby clothes, too!
Once Upon a Child on 53rd in Davenport buys and sells gently used clothing but I heard they are pretty picky on what they take. There's another store in Davenport on West Kimberly next to the DOT that takes donations but I don't remember what it's called.
