IL's in town

MIL & grandMIL just came into town to meet Audrey.  They have been here for 30 min and it's been crazy & chaotic so far.  It appears they are going to act like guests instead of actually being of any help.  Please send some positive thoughts to help me get through these few days.  Did I mention they are staying with us as well?  Oh and MIL's first comment was "she has so much personality... that's how I know she's mine."  Ugh, thanks a lot.

    Don't you love it when people come over and act like guests when you were expecting some actual help?  We had a blizzard here last week and were in the hospital for it. Leaving us(hubbie) looking forward to shoveling 22 inches of snow when we got out of the hospital. Luckily My mom and 2 sisters came to visit us at the hospital on Thu and stopped at our house on the way into town and shoveled for us as a surprise. 

    Now on the other hand my IL's came over the weekend on Saturday while we were still at the hospital and Sunday once we were home. Which hubbie kept saying-oh they'll help so we can get the house cleaned up-had all the post hospital craziness.  Not so much so I was quite frustrated especially I had already mentioned to hubbie that I didn't understand why they were coming to visit 2 days in a row/I was exhausted after lots of craziness to with baby (nicu, 2 echos, bili lights, 1st weekend home)

    Yikes- Can your DH say something to them?  Like- "Helllllooooo she just pushed a human out of her body- get up off of your butt and help out around here!"
