how bad (painful) can BH get?

in 3rd Trimester
maybe i am just a wimp when it comes to pain and i rarely really get menstrual cramps before my period, but it REALLY feels like i aunt flow is going to show up any second and my menstrual like cramps are pretty painful. i can't say that they are coming at any consistant intervals- i have have had them all day today along with BH and now this is TMI, but having BH/menstrual cramps/farting. ugh. i just dont think this is it though.

    BH should not be painful at all, on the discomfort scale they can be 0 or a 10 but they should not be ont he pain scale at all.

    If it feels like intense AF cramps those are more likely contractions.

    If it's the real thing, they'll keep getting worse and will become timable. Have you tried drinking a LOT of water and lying down on your left side?? I had painful false labor for 6 hours last weekend, so I feel for you. Hopefully it's the real thing for you!!

    I disagree. My "false labor" was PAINFUL. And I went natural with DS, so I'm no wimp!!

    Personally I have had tons and tons of BH and they have not been painful....other things have been painful but they don't necessarily accompany the BH.  I would time them and if they are coming in a pattern close together, call the doc.

    I was told my false labor and BH were 2 different things.My BH def feel different than false labor and different yet from pitocin labor. I never had real hoest to goodness contractions until this pregnancy, I have a few real contractions per day, with #1 I only had the 3 mentioned above. So I am going on that experience.

    The hospitals here use a discomfort scale and a pain scale. If you can talk through it, it is not on the pain scale. It is all perspective and how things are measured. And threshold...pain to you may not be pain to me.

    I have been having the exact same thing all day today, plus I think I lost my mp this morning.  Dont think it's it either, but something is going on!

    my bh are painful (in my eyes) usually if I try to make a bowel...I feel a bit better. I read you can get them if you gotta poop!
