DH is a bonehead!!!
I IM'd Dh today & told him it was a bitter sweet day. That not only has it been exactly one month since the m/c but AF is here & told him I was just a little emotional today. his response?
"oh great, just in time for Valentines day"
Ummmmm... what?! I told him that, that was the least of my concerns & closed the chat. I know he was trying to lighten the mood. It seems every time we have an anniversary or something I always get my period. So he was just pretty much saying that, but really DH. Bonehead thing to say. He's lucky I love him so much.

Oh know! He probably was trying to lighten the mood like you said. Don't feel too bad. I had my period on our honeymoon, and seriously, without fail, EVERY time we take a weekend trip (we don't vaycay yet, booo). Last weekend, we went skiing with a big group of friends and DH booked a condo for us all to stay in. Since we planned it, we were gonna take the one and only master bedroom, but we gave to another couple instead, because AF was still here.
Just talk to him tonight and tell him that your feelings today are a little tender, I think he'll get the message and sweeten up once you two are back together from work.

Silly man...he just doesn't get it does he? I'm sorry he upset you. I think it sometimes makes it worse when you know they don't mean it. Hugs to you. I hope your day gets better.
