My milk is coming in

I loved nursing my girls and the hysterectomy has left me super sad that I won't get to breastfeed again.  :(  The resident told me it was rare for milk to come in at 21 weeks, but I guess I am one of the lucky ones.  

I am having them bring me something to bind me up.  I hope it works quickly.

    I'm so sorry.  I remember that awful part as well.  Live in sports bras.  Don't stand under the hot shower for long.  You can use cabbage leaves as well.  Big hugs.

    Ice. Tight sports bras. Nipple pads to catch leaking.Cabbage leaves.

    There is a tea too that's called no more milk that helps. Peppermint is supposed to help dry it up too.

    I'm so so sorry you are going through this. The milk coming in was one of the hardest parts for me. My milk lasted about a month and sucked major assss.

    I'm so sorry. Very tight sports bras worked for me, although I learned later that I have supply issues. I hope this passes quickly. Big hugs to you.

    oh honey i'm so sorry. this must be so painful, both emotionally and physically.

    Oh, man, I remember that.  Mine came in at 20 weeks, to everyone's surprise. . . it was SUCH a slap in the face (even more so in hindsight since I had supply issues trying to BF DS).

    Ugh, insult to injury.  I've heard that sudafed can dry you up - is that maybe something the docs can give you?
