Which stroller should I get? I tried to BOB yesterday at the store and really liked how it handled and how lightweight it seemed for a AT stroller. Only thing I was concerned about was the size of the basket; seemed a little small. However, I have found a couple Indies on CL for good deals and have heard good things about them as well. One was the spice and the other seagrass. Which color do you like better?
Also, do you think I need to get a light(er) weight stroller too or will either one of these be OK as an all-purpose stroller?
Re: Bumbleride Indie or BOB Revolution
I just had this dilemma.... It came down to me taking DD to the store and trying the strollers out with her in it... We got the Indie, she was more comfortable in it. The Indie has an actual structured seat, while the BOB is more like a sling and isn't as "positionable" at the Indie's..
We love our Indie and are so happy to have gotten that one. Its a gorgeous stroller and is just as simple as the BOB to open and close... Definitely takes up less space in my trunk than the Chicco Cortina. But that is why I like the Indie, it doesn't look like camping gear... You can go from a trail, the sidewalk, into a store and it fits in all the situations
I would honestly suggest for you to see if there is a specialty stroller store near you that carries both strollers and test them both out before making your decision, GL with your selection!

Actually Bumbleride considers the Indie a "light jogger" so you can jog with it but probably wouldn't want to run a marathon with it. (You can see this on their FAQs on their main site.) For that matter, you wouldn't want a regular Revolution if you were going to run that much either. We have an Indie and love it! It is the smallest/lightest stroller of this type. It folds/unfolds easily, has a decent size basket, and best of all (I think) has a structured back like a PP mentioned. This enabled us to drop it all the way down (nearly flat) and use it for our new baby. The Bob is in fact a sling and I don't think you can use it until either 4 or 6 months. Thats a LONG time not to be able to use your stroller. It also was compatible with our Chicco Keyfit 30 infant seat though we usually just take him out and put him in the stroller. (There's definitely a reason people buy Snap N Go's if they want this function on a regular basis.)
We debated the same colors and went with the seagrass. The spice color is a little odd looking in person IMHO. The orange is just a lot lighter in color than you'd expect do it looks a little mismatched with the turquoise color. My absolute only complaint with the Indie would be that we didn't like the pump it came with because it is a little hard to get to the valve with it. We just got a cheap ($8) bike pump at Target to use and this works well.
