Lurker coming out of hiding...

I have been lurking on this board for a couple of weeks now.  My c-section is scheduled for Feb 18 and I have been trying to get ideas for working out and eating healthier/dieting for after it.  I don't post a lot on any of the boards, but I will try help there be some action on this board.  Thanks for all the ideas!

  • Well, you probably won't be working out for a few weeks. My soreness abated pretty quickly for daily activities, but even at 5 weeks I tried to do what would have been a light workout for me and was really sore after--particularly at my incision. It's much better now that I'm about 7 weeks (I haven't been cleared to exercise- my apt is tomorrow). Basically once you're cleared you can start easing back into the same sorts of things you were doing before (slowly...).
