Hand foot and mouth virus
The girls have it. Ugggg. This week has been horrible! Jada was actually in the hospital with an IV because she was so dehydrated. Her mouth hurt so bad she wouldn't eat or drink anything. Jada is back to nromal and Erica is on the downhill side of it. But man, that is one bad virus. Has anyones DC ever had it? I hope it isn't something that is going around.

Chase had it about 4 months ago. It doesn't sound like he had it nearly as badly as Jada. He just was randomly throwing up and had a high fever. He had the sores on his feet and I am guessing in his mouth and throat. It took him about a week to start feeling better.
Sorry they are so sick. One consolation is that in most kids it is kind of like Chicken Pox in that they normally don't get it more than once.
Yup, Izzie had it a couple months ago.. not fun. She only had the throat part, but it was not fun. I actually had it along with her.. yup that was a fun week.?

I'm so sorry that they're having so much trouble. My dr actually suggested ice cream (which we didn't do since she wasn't on dairy at that point), and cold is always better than warm or hot. We fed Izzie with a medicine dropper with slushy BM, but Im guessing you can't do that with toddlers that can walk around. I think the key is to get them to eat/drink.. anything.

Peyton had it a few months ago, I felt so bad for him. It took forever for his rash to go away.
