When do you do it? I have been getting up at 5 to get my runs in before DD wakes at 6:30 or running during her morning nap (treadmill) but if I do that I lose a lot of time I need to get housework, etc. done. When do you work out?
On my days off I run on the treamill while LO naps, two days a week I go to a Zumba class in the evening and SO watches LO. On work nights I run on the treadmill right when I get off work.
If I'm not too tired, I will get up an hour before LO wakes up. If that doesn't happen, then I'll workout during his morning nap. If I don't do it at either of those 2 times, its probably not going to happen.
When I run with her, it's right after work (3:30pm). When I go to CrossFit, it's at 6:30am of my days off, or 7:00pm when DH comes home from work.
Weekends are when every I please because DH takes her with him to running club. When push comes to shove, I use our apartment gym or do yoga/pilates at home in the evening while she's crawling around.
On race days (1/2 marathons plus) it's early morning and she usually spends the night before at grandmas.
Not at all, I don't sweat after 4 miles easy running and it doesn't get hot here in San Francisco (usually 50s). I have a gym right next to work where I can shower if needed, but it's usually not necessary.

A few days a week I get up at 5am and go to the gym (and am then showered and home just as the kids are getting up) and another few I go to a kick boxing class at 7:30pm, after DS is in bed (DH is usually putting DD to bed when I go). If DH is home I'll go for a run at some point during the day - usually mid morning.

I think it's awesome that you do this, but don't you get all sweaty on your way to work??
