  When I starting asking for practical things for Christmas. Like a vacuum or a stand mixer, that kind of thing. I actually don't really feel like a grown up...until I have to pay bills!

  Prob the fact that we pay our mortgage....and in Manhattan, it;s pretty painful LOL.

  When we have to replace tires on our vehicles or renew our tags.

  When we make decisions for our house, like replacing appliances or redoing the landscaping.

  Also, paying our mortgage never fails to remind me that we are adults..lol

  Every month when I pay my mortage!!!!!  It's painful but reminds me that I am an adult!!!!!!!!

  5/06 -2nd baby had no heartbeat at 14 wks.
  D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!
  Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
  5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
  FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
  1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
  IVF - May - BFN
  6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
  9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
  10/13 - BFP!!

  Unfortunately and fortunately, sometimes I feel like I grew up way too fast and missed out on my young adult years, but I wouldn't change it for anything. I considered myself an adult officially the year I turned 21. 2004 was the most successful year of my life. In June I turned 21, in July Dh and I, fianc? at the time, purchased our first house, got married in August and graduated college that December. I was on top of the world and loving life.

  After 3 years of infertility we were blessed with twin girls through private infant adoption.

  When I see wrinkles   And when I'd rather stay in and watch a movie w/ DH than be out on a Saturday night.

  TTC in 2008. Stage II/III endo, Hashimotos hypothyroid, low morph (3%).
  2 cycles Clomid/Ovidrel/TI/Crinone=BFN.
  IUI #1 - 4 Follistim/Ovidrel/IUI/Crinone = BFN.
  IVF #1 - Antagonist w/ ICSI 4/10. 17 retrieved, 5DT of 2, BFN
  IVF #2 - Long Lupron w/ ICSI 6/10. 15 retrieved, 3DT of 2, BFFN!!
  Lap 7/21/10
  IVF #3 - Clomid/Antagonist w/ ICSI 10/10. 14 retreived, 3DT of 3, BFP 10/20 but m/c. No HB 11/15/10 - D&C 11/17/10.
  FET - 2 blasts, 1 survived the thaw. Transfer 2/19. Beta #1 3/1 375, Beta #2 3/3 885, Beta #3 3/8 4261, Beta #4 3/11 9005. U/S 3/8 1 sac 1 yolk, U/S 3/16 1 heartbeat 114bpm!

  i agree with a few of you. staying in on weekends, not sleeping in on weekends, getting excited when i get to go to the grocery store, and i asked for a hairdryer and coffe mugs to match our plates. i feel grown up when i feel like ive become boring.
