anyone deliver at North Shore LIJ

Hi Ladies,

I'm due on 1/8/09 with my first (boy); going to deliver at North Shore in Manhasset. Could anyone provide me with feedback with how their experience was at North Shore?

    all my cousins and my aunt delivered there.... i was a nanny for 3 girls and they were all delivered there too...its a great hospital

    i have been a doula there for 2 of my friends...it really depends on your labor nurse...one had an AWEFUL one, and the other had an angel for a nurse...if you don't like your nurse, tell the nurse manager.  they are building a whole maternity wing but it won't be ready for another year, so we miss out :-(  otherwise, typical hospital...they are very conservative there too...who is your OB?  i am delivering there in february

    Thank you!!  Of course the new wing will be after we deliver!  Maybe for the next one! My doctor is Dr. Napoli in Bayside.  Hope you are feeling well :)
