painful internal, I'm screwed!

So, i had an internal last week and again today.  My next is on Monday and WTH!

He could've wared me before going up there that it may hurt a bit.  I think  this week hurts more than last week...AND to top it off, I'm no more than a fingertip dialated. 

 If this bothers me, I'm SCREWED when it comes to labor. I'm super excited about LO's arrival but now starting to get a bit scared about the pain.  I'm such a baby.

    I had my first internal today and I was TOTALLY not prepared for the discomfort.I was squirming around and grimacing.  It was...shocking.  I'm fine now, but holyshiit!

    ha ha, I know!!  Jeez, why dont they warn us?  Oh well, I guess we need to just hold on, cuz it's gonna get a whole lot more intense!

    The last few internals before i delivered hurt like hell. I just about did the crab walk off of the exam table. Not to scare you, but the ones when I was in labor hurt more because whether the exam caused it or the doc always had the right timing, I always had a contraction during the internals.

    The nurse I had in L&D last night was so much more rough than my doctor usually is. Three internals from her later and I feel like my cervix should be gaping open, she was that hard on me. The crab walk comparison is exactly what I did. Makes me long for my doctor's teeny little hands.

    crikey!  i hate reading posts like this- i'm such a child when it comes to pain!!  friday is supposed to be my first internal and i'm nervous, but anxious!!

    I've had 3 internals so far and the last one hurt the worst... by far.  She stayed up in me for like a min just screwing around, I thought I was gonna cry!

    Yep, they hurt like hell.  I've almost cried during them.  I am NOT looking forward to all the checking they will do at the hospital.  DH better get me some flowers after the baby is born!  ;-)

    Tomorrow may be my first internal.  I had one pre-hospital last time and I remember tears in my eyes.

    I have had two so far and another right after my MD by a student.  They were uncomfortable but not painful until later (plus I bleed afterwards which is not pleasant).

    Bah, me too!  Last week's was fine, but today's was awful!  She hung out in there for what seemed like forever... and she then told me she ran her fingers around LO's head a couple times.  Isn't that called membrane-stripping?  And shouldn't I have consented??  (I mean, I would have... but still!)

    Feeling your pain!  Sorry!
