  We have twin beds that we inherited from my Grandmother, but they're really high, so I got DD a child's bed from IKEA.  It's about a foot longer than the crib, so there's plenty of space for her and her 20+ stuffed animals.  It's really cute, too.  When she outgrows it, we'll give her one of the twin beds.

  M's first big boy bed will be the double bed DH and I have had forever. He won't be in it for a while and I'll use those safety rail things when we do move him.

   We bought a toddler bed at Buy Buy Baby, using a 20% off coupon, of course.

  DD1 is 3, DD2 is 1.

  We bought the conversion kit for it and I figure we'll set it up whenever she starts to hurl herself out of the crib!

  Rooms 2 Go- It's actually a forever bed room suite. Queen bed with matching dresser,2 nightstands,head/footboard, & chest of drawers. We figured if he's goingto have a bed, might as well make it a good one that he can then take with him when he moves out.
