Help w/ introducing whole milk

Caroline drinks water like a champ from a sippy cup, but she absolutely refuses to drink breast milk or any sort of juice from it. She has not had a bottle in months and the one time I tried a month ago, she refused so I don't have the ability to slowly mix breast milk with cow's milk. I gave her a sippy of whole milk on her birthday a few days ago and she drank a good bit of it. I thought great, we aren't going to have a problem with this, but since then she spits the milk out whenever I offer it to her. I tried watering it down, but that made no difference. I am not trying to wean her from BFing immediately, but I would like for her to drink cows milk with her solids meals instead of water. I can't think of anything else to do besides just continuing to offer it to her.

Maybe try it through a straw sippy cup?

My LO will spit out anything cold just from the fridge, weather it be water, juice or milk. Try warming the milk just a bit.

O was the same way with sippies. Only water through the sippy. It took a few months of offering the sippy for her to actually use it now.

You can try putting a little mixed bm and wm into the sippy for every meal so you aren't wasting a lot.

Lately we got her drinking through a straw sippy and made a big deal about it. She loves it. Now we have to figure out how to explain to her that she doesn't need to tip it.

My little boy loves whole milk, but his problem was with the sippy cup. We tried a straw cup, and as soon as he figured out he had to suck hard, he had it! Maybe just continue to offer it, that's what worked for us.
