I was playing with Nora last night on our coffee table and I guess I must have dropped a big ball of it on the floor. Iris is a quick roller and must have spotted it immediately. When I finally looked to see what she was up to, it was all melted and globbed in her mouth and smeared all over her face. She thought it was hilarious. I was mortified and then couldn't control the laughter. I would have freaked if this happened to my first born but my only thought was, "Well, at least she didn't choke." Bad Mommy.
Re: My baby's first foods
Hee hee!
This morning, Owen ate a shred of Kleenex that had gone through the washing machine and fell off some clean laundry onto our bedroom floor. (Don't judge my housekeeping!)
Yeah, I still haven't figured out how this is going to work with a mobile baby and a 3 almost 4 year old who is obsessed with mini doll accessories. I caught Iris the other day with Ken pinned under her, making out with him. Okay, she was gnawing his face off but still...
I'll need your guidance, oh wise one.
There is hope for you yet, Miller! I was the same way.
Fiber?
No lie, it's like they give you a dopamine (inhibitor?) Rx in the hospital or something. Total 180.
OMG yes. I haven't even given birth yet, but I am already thinking the whole "as long as she doesn't choke"!

To be honest, it was around the time all the drama started in my life. Looking back it's a freaking miracle DS even survived considering how much craziness was going on at our house.
I think the biggest thing was that I didn't discourage DD being a tattle tale at that time. She was such a protective big sister and pounced the minute he tried to get a hold of something he shouldn't. It's kind of biting me in the a$$ now that they're older and fighting non stop because she's still overprotective, but at the time it worked.
Ha, I've seen that tattling come out already with Nora. Good point.
