Has anyone figured out a way to keep your activity on FB from showing up on your wall? For instance, if you "like"a post or post a reply to someone? It always shows on my wall....then I go delete them all because I know that anyone who sees it on your wall can go look at your friend's wall. It is weird, so I delete everything to protect my friends from having people they don't know looking at their posts. Thoughts?
Re: FB question
I don't think there is any way to keep wall postings, comments, etc., from showing up in your news feed. You can suppress the ones from applications, but not from simple wall messages.
But, I also think FB has changed the way that feature works. Now if I click on a notification that someone wrote on someone else's wall, all I can see is the comment and the comment thread. I can't click through to their wall unless the person's wall is also a friend of mine. Does that make sense?

This. Exactly this. It's the whole point of FB, I think. I don't think you can do a darn thing about it. You might be able to do something with custom privacy settings, but I haven't played with that enough.

OK. I just went to sistrkate's FB wall and I can only see responses she made to posts by any of our mutual friends or for people (like Free Ryan Widmer) who leave their privacy settings open for anyone to see.
So, I think you're safe unless Katie only responds to posts by our mutual friends.
