2nd Trimester

Not feeling as much movement, is this normal?

I started feeling the first flutters around 17-18 weeks, and I would feel them pretty consistantly throughout the day.  This has been the norm just until the last day or two...more recently I haven't really noticed him moving much if at all.  I'm hoping that this all normal, I do have an appointment today but wanted to get some thoughts now to hopefully ease my mind a little.

  • Very normal.  Docs don't look for consistent movement until 28ish weeks.

  • Very normal this early on.  My LO's movement is getting more pronounced for me, but I still have days where he/she seems to be sleeping a lot!  :)

  • Sounds normal!! My little guy has days where he's very active and days where I only feel him here and there. Doc says it's normal and not to worry, we don't start kick counts for a while still for this reason.

I'm 22 weeks, and I only feel my baby a few times a week. My doctor says it's normal.
