strep throat

I am 10 wks pregnant and have had a relapse of strep throat. I had it two weeks ago and it came back full force this weekend. I am so worried that this will have an affect on the baby. Has anyone had this while pregnant? And any advice on what to do since medicine is very limited? Thank you!

    I had it during my first pregnancy. They gave me Amoxicillian because the infection can be very dangerous if left untreated. You do not want it to turn into Scarlet Fever, trust me. I had it as a child and most all my hair fell out from the fever.

    My throat started hurting the other night.  Since i am allergic to most

    antibiotics I just gargled with some salt water. It burned but it did the trick. You can always call the Drs and ask.  Hope you feel better soon
