Very Beautiful and Courageous (VBAC)

I'm sure this acronym has been posted on here at one point or another, but I like to think about it from time to time when I feel sad or discouraged.  I heard it on a podcast when I was just beginning to think about VBAC.  Any other affirmations you're finding helpful?

    That is a great acronym!  As far as affirmations/mantras... These helped me a lot during active labor when I was doubting myself more and more with each painful contraction:

    Loose lips, loose jaw, loose cervix

    Pressure is progress, Pain is progress

    Ina May says in her Guide to Childbirth book "your body is not a lemon."  I like that.  I take it to mean that our bodies are made to give birth and even if we do have a c/s, our bodies grew these beautiful children and that c/s doesn't mean your body is a failure or defective.
