I feel like a damn crocodile these days. Nothing has worked on my skin. We have radiator heat, so it's incredibly dry in our apartment, and this winter has been brutal so far. My skin is peeling. I even tried baby oil while still a little wet from the shower in hopes of sealing in moisture? I accomplish nothing but being oily! Grrr...

So...name what works for you!

CJs butter. mamisandpapis.com sells this stuff. it can be used as diaper rash cream or many things. its all natural and amazing. my skin has been dry too

I use Aveeno Stress Relief lotion...works better than any lotion I have ever used and it smells like the baby Aveeno Calming that I use on DD.

Laura Mercier - Almond Coconut. It's not very heavy, so I don't know if it would work on super dry skin.

for my face and hands i will slather on olive oil for a few minutes, then wash off. that works for days. if i don't have time for that i use the same stuff i use on bay at night: earth mama angel baby.

This. I have horrible dry skin and this is the only thing that works, but it has to be the ultra healing. The other curels don't work at all!

I just use Jergens Original Cherry Almond or any body cream from Bath and Body Works. Maybe you should try a humidifier, so your apartment isn't so dry?

Ok, I am really late, but I have to chime in with this:

I saw a dermatologist on TV say to use Crisco on your skin. Said it was all natural and works like a body butter. She wrote some book, I think it is called Feed Your Face - which is all about using food to get good skin.

I have not tried it, but I have thought about it! My hands are so dry.
