bleeding vs. spotting

i know the difference. but i have a dilema i hadn't thought about. i used to have to wear a tampon because i didn't bleed with a pad/pantiliner. i had my membranes stripped today. will i know the difference between spotting and bleeding (like call the doctor bleeding)?

    I had some bleeding after my membranes were stripped today, but it wasn't constant. My doctor just said to expect "some." But I definitely am not full-out bleeding. I think you'd know the difference.

    i don't think it's stupid cause i don't really understand it 100? percent. but what i do know is that the doctor loosens your mucus plug. it can cause labor to begin within 78 hours. at least that's what my doctor said. he did it for me because since lo dropped i have been in pain when doing anything but lying down and i begged him for an induction that he won't do until 41 weeks.
