This! Aaron got this from my aunt and uncle and he LOVES it. He still plays with it every day. Hands down, his favorite birthday present.
My other aunt and uncle bought him a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe. He liked being pushed in it this past Summer/Fall. Hopefully he'll figure out how to use it with his feet this coming Spring.
It was really important to us to find something for him that would be fun but also quiet (no batteries at all). He loves this, has loved it from the day he got it on his first birthday, and only recently stopped playing with it much (he's 26 months now). I've been amazed that kids of all ages have played with it a ton when they visit (including a girl a year older than him who used to come by a lot, and several 4-6 year olds). The penguin and 2 balls go down the ramp and end going down their own different final chutes, and the frog goes down the tower, and makes different noises right side up or upside down (from how the air goes through him).
Edited: I just read the reviews that complained that the paint came off the penguin's nose and that that frog gets stuck in his tower and that the penguin needs help going down the ramp. We have not had any of these problems, and he has played *hard* with this toy. He has figured out how to disassemble it, but it goes back easily and so that doesn't bother me. It's been surprisingly sturdy. I don't know if maybe the manufacturer has changed or if they just had duds. We got ours at a local store and could see how sturdy it was.

We love the Fisher Price Learn and Move Music Station. You may have seen it advertised on tv. the keyboard is fun all by itself, or it can work with the tv and teach your child songs and dances. It's really cool!

T has this and loves it.
I wanted to get her this chair for her birthday but it was out of stock then. It finally arrived last week. I think she likes having a chair that is just hers. They have a Mickey one.
I got Jack a Step 2 Push Around Buggy and a water table, but his birthday is technically in the summer. He also has a Radio Flyer Scoot n Zoom, and he pushes this thing all over the house, around and around and around.

* Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Home. i got it (used from craigslist) when she was 8 months old and she plays with it every chance she gets.
This. Michael got one for Christmas. (thanks baby brother for shaming my mother into buying it for him) He loves it and every day he learns something new to do with it. And the music is not very loud and it has a volume control.
