And we have a new baby!! (kinda long, but a great story)

You'll never guess what happened yesterday. I was out shopping and called my DH. He anwered the garage phone and while talking to me apparently a little kitten came out of nowhere and was rubbing his legs. I told him to get some food and water for it and put it in the garage and leave the door open about 6 inches and see if it stays around. When I came home it was still there. It is the cutest little furball I've ever seen. It has long hair like a Maine *** Cat (the Nest won't let me say the middle word) and is an orange tabby with blue eyes still. It is full of love and can't get enough petting, being held, and purrs almost constantly! Today we are taking it to a vet to get it checked-out and vaccinated so that we can bring it inside as it is supposed to get very cold tonight. We kept it in our detached garage overnight because we already have a cat and dog and don't want them to catch any disease(s) that the kitten might have. We can't let it be an outside cat either as first the night temps are getting pretty cold and we live out in the country and have foxes and coyotes that have been killing small animals all over the area lately. Therefore it's chance of survival outside is very slim because it is so young and small. We are guessing that it is only 6 to 8 weeks old. So there, we now have a new baby!! I'll keep you posted on how it is after the vet today!
