She stands very well. She is so strong!! She will even hold my fingers and stand on her own for a few seconds. Our pedi says that is great that she does that. He also said that an old wives tale says not to have your baby stand because it will cause bow legs..... Pedi says that's not true. It will actually make their legs stronger.
We realized P could stand at her 6 week apt when the doctor held her up to check her foot. She is now 9 weeks and can stand while holding onto only my fingers. It's insane, and I don't think it's normal.

O could stand at about 4 weeks or so. She's especially good at it if she is upset. :P But she is our first, so I don't know if it is normal or not. Others certainly seem surprised to see her stand.

Jackson has done that since before he was a month old, but my pedi seemed very surprised at it when she saw him do it. He tends to be very active with his legs though; on his playmat he usually doesn't do too much with his arms but kicks like crazy and during tummy time moves them like crawling.
Molly has been standing when held for about a week now, but she also hold her head up for short periods. She moves around a lot, I don't know if that has anything to do with her being strong enough to do these things.
